The Barnard House Bed and Breakfast

Built in 1858, The Barnard House Bed and Breakfast was the birthplace of George Grey Barnard, a famous American sculpter who was best known for his groups of statuary at the Capitol in Harrisburg, Pa.
The house has two guest rooms, two outdoor porches, a newly renovated parlor, a stone patio, and a large back yard with many gardens.
It is located three blocks from the center of Victorian Bellefonte, Pa., and within walking distance of many local attractions and restaurants. Penn State University is only15 minutes driving distance away, and many of the guests who stay here attend events there such as football games and other sporting events, graduation, Parents' and moving in day, and reunions.
We serve a full breakfast for guests each morning using our fine china and linens, and coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available 24/7.
Our regular rates are $85 per night and $110 per night (with a two night minimum) for football weekends and special events. We require a one-night deposit, which will be refunded if the reservation is canceled 14 or more days in advance. Smoking is allowed on the two porches and the patio.
Unfortunately, we are not equipped for pets and very young children. Check in is 3 PM and checkout is 11 AM. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
We have two very shy cats, who are not allowed in the guest rooms, and possibly a ghost.
